This Act may be cited as the Voluntary Conveyances Act.

In this Act, “conveyance” includes every mode of disposition mentioned or referred to in the Imperial Act 27 Elizabeth 1, c. 4.

Subject to section 4, no voluntary conveyance of any immovable property, whether made before or after 8th October 1915, if in fact made bona fide and without any fraudulent intent, shall hereafter be deemed fraudulent or covinous within the meaning of the Imperial Act 27 Elizabeth 1, c. 4 by reason of any subsequent purchase for value, or be defeated under any of the provisions of that Act by a conveyance made upon such purchase, any rule of law notwithstanding.

This Act shall not apply in any case in which the author of a voluntary conveyance of any immovable property has subsequently to the conveyance but before 8th October 1915 disposed of or dealt with that immovable property to or in favour of a purchaser for value.
